Friend to Koalas and eyeglass wearer, Sam Simmons is your dreams and your fantasies alive and moustached. Sam is here to help you ease your transition from the world of tube maps and popcorn temptation, into a life of pinecones and peaches and Mexcimos. Winner of the 2015 Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Awards, this guy is mega. Like super mega.

Pat Cahill, (AKA Gnat Shahill) isn’t the first guy to put on a soldier’s helmet and a pair of boxer shorts and walk down to the shops. And he probably won’t be the last. A songter for the down and out, the dead beat sad eyed, the gaping jawed, listless souls whose battle hardened lives are no longer worth living, Pat deCahill (the ‘de’ is silent) has the voice of an angel and the mind of a monk. Lost in the greenness of his eyes, we gently weep every time.

Touted as the ‘Persephone and Artemis’ of the stand up comedy circuit, Croft & Pearce aren’t exactly immortal gods, nor indeed Greek.

Musical comedy act and character comedian, Jenny Bede’s been a busy girl in the last year, jetting off to LA and coming back to England again. There were probably some other things she did in the meantime too. You know, things people do. Have a look at some of her videos below.

Fiona Ridgewell is the winner of a bunch of standup competitions. Ones like ‘The Blackout’ at Up The Creek (she won this one a grand total of five times), and Beat The Gong at the Comedy Store London. In 2014 Fiona got to the semi-final of the Fringe’s ‘So You Think You’re Funny?’. Not long after (12 months later in 2015, in fact) Fiona was a Funny Women semi-finalist, and almost won the Golden Jester. What a rollercoaster. Now she’s on the Green Milk roster and we couldn’t be happier.

Hot off the back of her sell-out Fringe Festival run with her show Smut, Lily Phillips is back in the big smoke and ready for it. Really ready for it. A 2021 BBC New Comedy Award and Funny Women script Finalist, the heat is really hotting up.
You may have seen her on ITV’s The Stand Up Sketch Show (check out the videos below). Still not sure where you’ve seen her before? It could be BBC3’s Period Dramas, All4’s The Joy Of Missing Out, or Comedy Central Live. Still scratching your brain? Well, it might have been the night she debated at the Oxford Union. Yeah, it might have been then actually.

We went and watched Mark Simmons at the Fringe on a stag do. We’d just downed a bunch of blue VKs to combat the existential crises we were all in. Robin couldn’t look anyone in the eye. To be fair, neither could I. And the thought of being trapped in a basement with a bunch of strangers induced a slow burn panic that made us all want to leave Edinburgh. By the time Mark Simmons stepped on stage the taurine had taken effect and our testosterone was swelling once more. We enjoyed the set. It was funny. Once it was done, everything felt alright again and we were optimistic about the world. But then we had to march off to some axe-throwing alley and I vowed, there and then, to never attend a stag do ever again.
